Regular use of sunscreen, not just when at the beach or pool, is one of the most efficient ways to protect your skin from long-term exposure to direct UV rays.

Of Note:
- Compared to the National Average (51.5%), Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ undergraduates (55%) are more likely to wear sunscreen regularly with sun exposure than their peers at other institutions.
- Females (60.1%) significantly wear sunscreen more regularly than their male counterparts (48.6%)
- Across racial identity, white students (65.4%) use sunscreen at the highest rate, with Hispanic and Latino/a/x (56.1%) the only other racial identity above fifty percent.
- Greek affiliated (75%) and Varsity athletes (100%) are far more likely to use sunscreen regularly than their peers.
