Knight Community Scholars

Launched in Fall 2019, the Knight Community Scholars (KCS) Program supports a selected cohort of first-generation, lower-income, and/or undocumented/DACA students at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ with four years of individual and group advising, community-building opportunities, workshops, and programming. Scholars are selected based on their Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵhip capacity, intellectual potential, resilience, and commitment to their communities.

Approximately 30-40 Scholars are selected each year. During the 2021-2022 academic year, close to 100 Knight Community Scholars will be a part of our Scholar Community.

The Knight Community Scholars Program would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and Trustee, Lester and Becky Knight. We thank them for their continued commitment and support of SES Programs throughout the years.
