SES Graduation Pop-Up

Student Enrichment Services is excited to celebrate Class of 2024 graduates. All undergraduate students who identify as first-generation, lower-income, and/or undocumented/DACA graduates are invited to drop in and pick up a FGLI graduation gift. Undergraduate students who identify as first-generation college students will also receive a First-Gen stole. Graduates can also enjoy an array of snacks and activities that will be facilitated throughout the day. Below are the tentative activities:

Registration
- Registration is now closed.
SES will send a MailChimp to FGLI undergraduate students in the Class of 2024 on Sunday, March 31. This MailChimp will include the registration form for the SES Graduation Pop Up. You can also register with the SES team at the Graduation Fair at the Norris Book Store:
- April 17th 2PM-6:30PM
- April 18th 10AM-2PM
Please note, SES orders stoles based on the number of students who sign up. Therefore, we cannot guarantee we will have any available stoles for students who missed the deadline. Additionally, SES will not reimburse students who purchase a First-Gen stole from other vendors.
FAQ
- What is the FGLI Graduation Gift?
- The FGLI graduation gift has been different every year, but this year, we are bringing back the Norris Bookstore Gift card valued at $100. More details about this will be available after registration closes on, Sunday, April 21, 2024.
- What if I'm unable to pick up my FGLI Graduation Gift on the day of the SES Graduation Pop-Up?
- The FGLI Graduation Gift is only available for pick up at the SES Graduation Pop-Up. Registered students who attend the SES Graduation Pop-Up will receive a voucher at the SES Graduation Pop-Up that acts as the gift card. This gift card must be used day of.
- What if I'm unable to pick up my stole on the day of the SES Graduation Pop-Up?
- Stoles and gifts will only be available to pick up during the SES Graduation Pop-Up. The SES Team will not be at Commencement or other graduation events to provide the stoles. If you cannot attend, a friend can pick up the stole and/or gift for you. Your friend must show a photo of your Wildcard and once your FGLI Stole/ Grad Gift is picked up; SES is no longer responsible for your items.
- Can I bring a friend to the SES Graduation Pop-Up?
- Feel Free! There is plenty of food and activities to go around. Just keep in mind that only FGLI students who register by Sunday April 21, 2024 at 8 p.m. are eligible for the First-Gen stole and the FGLI Graduation gift.
