Consensual Romantic or Sexual Relationships Between Faculty, Staff and Students

The helps ensure that Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s academic, research and all other University environments remain free from real or apparent conflicts when individuals in positions of unequal power at the University are involved in consensual romantic or sexual relationships. This policy also prohibits faculty and coaches from engaging in romantic, dating, or sexual relationships with Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ undergraduate students, regardless of whether there is a supervisory or evaluative relationship between them. What You Should Know Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct

The What You Should Know Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct brochure contains the University's Policy on Discrimination and Harassment, which prohibits discrimination against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, parental status, marital status, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, genetic information, or any other classification protected by law. The brochure also contains the Policy on Sexual Harassment, and the Title IX Statement and Sexual Violence Statement.

The University prohibits the taking of any retaliatory action for reporting or inquiring about alleged improper or wrongful activity.

The provides guidance on the prohibited use of University Electronic Resources for making threats, engaging in harassing behavior, and viewing, downloading, or communicating pornography
