1835 Hinman is undergoing renovations and will open in Fall 2025 to house first year, returning, and transfer students. 1835 Hinman is a large building located at the southeast corner of campus near Norris University Center, Art Circle Drive and the South Beach. The floor plan features a small number of rooms grouped around a community bathroom and each residential floor has a kitchenette and community space. The building also features large lounges on the first floor and an additional lounge on the basement level next to the laundry room. Residents of 1835 Hinman also enjoy the amenities and programs of the South Area.
