Adam Davies is recognized as a 2020 Jazzy Johnson Waw-Jashk Student Award honoree for their unweaving commitment in transforming the conversation about transgender inclusivity at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and promoting sexual health and well-being awareness among students and the campus community. Adam helped lead protests in response to sexual assault allegations against Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and elevated campus concerns about trans inclusivity in the Greek community.

Adam dedicated nearly 30 hours per week as the Vice President of the Associated Student Government (ASG) and regularly advocated for student self-care and promoted campus-wide gender equity, including gender open housing and genderless bathrooms on campus.

Their nominator remarked that it is “hard to understate the immense and continuous impact Adam’s activism on campus as they have single handedly transformed the conversation around trans inclusivity at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.”
