What do I need to do ahead of my appointment?

Patients are asked to download the MyChart app and sign up.  Your username is typically your NU login information. If you need assistance with using , please call 855.HLP.MYNM (855.457.6966).

On the MyChart app, please make sure to update your name, pronouns, insurance information, local address, email address and phone number.  The day of your appointment, you may do e-check in to confirm your information. Please stop by the front desk so that they can confirm with the practitioners your arrival.

How can I get my medical records?

To request a copy of your records of services provided prior to December 11, 2021, please refer to the Health Information Management Services page.

For records of services and medical images provided after December 11, 2021, you may request them online through your or via these .

Where do I direct my billing questions?

NM Student Health Services at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University is a unique NM healthcare service provider that only sees Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University students.  All billing is done through the NM billing services. 

  • If you have questions regarding your insurance coverage, please direct your questions to your insurance provider. 
  • If you are receiving insurance through Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University Student Health Insurance office, please check their webpage.

For all other billing questions, please call NM billing, 855.694.2866.

How do I give another adult access to my NM record?

Proxy access gives someone else access to a patient’s MyNM record. This give them access to:

  • View patient’s information, medications, health history, test results, clinical notes and After Visit Summaries
  • Make requests for medication refills
  • Schedule and manage appointments
You can invite someone to be your MyNM proxy using the Share My Record function within MyNM.

Otherwise, please complete the appropriate to submit your request. These requests are processed through the NM health records offices so please email the forms to himmedrc@nm.org or fax them to 312.926.6153. Do not send them to NM Student Health Services at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University.
